Courage and Patience – A Photography Exhibition

The power of courage and patience is captured in the photographs of UNT photographers Adam Wrafter and Amanda Lindgren. Through their work, they meet people who demonstrate strength in different ways – through action and resistance, but also through waiting, perseverance and quiet determination.

This Year’s Reflector with LF

Jumping off a diving platform, saying sorry or daring to be yourself – courage can mean many things to a child. In LF Uppsala’s reflector design competition, second-grade pupils from across the county have submitted more than 700 drawings inspired by the theme of courage. The winning design has been turned into this year’s reflector, which will be handed out at the stand. Come and explore the exhibition of children’s drawings and pick up your own reflector from the reflector dispenser!

Meet Bonnier Fastigheter

Bonnier Fastigheter is a long-term property owner and urban developer with a strong presence in Uppsala. Since 2018, the company has been developing and managing both residential and commercial properties in the city, with the ambition of creating places where people and businesses can thrive and where Uppsala can continue to grow.

An exciting transformation is currently underway in the Cykelfabriken neighbourhood. Buildings and surrounding public spaces are being developed to create a more vibrant, safe and welcoming area. The former police headquarters on Salagatan is being transformed into modern office spaces as part of the wider development of Östra City.

The furniture will be available to purchase, with proceeds going to Uppsala Stadsmission. The IKEA store reopens on 19 November, with an extra focus on its second-hand department.
